Airline Training School

You can go from no air time to a paid flight instructor in less than 9 months! You can be a full time commercial airline pilot less than 5 months later. It will take less time to complete for those entering into our airline training programs with ratings or certificates.

The average airline flight training student completes our airline flight training programs with a minimum of: 700 hours TT / 150 hours Multi-Engine, Commercial License, Multi-Engine / Instrument Ratings, CFI, CFII, MEI, Minimum of 400 hours of Dual Instruction as a paid Certified Flight Instructor with RAA, and ATP Written Passed.

Many alliance airlines interview RAA Grads for positions, including Allegheny Airlines, Atlantic Coast Airlines, Boston Maine Airways, Continental Express Airlines, Colgan Airline, Trans States Airlines. Job interview opportunities with airlines are based on meeting airline hiring requirements, demand, and successful RAA Airline Career Program Performance.

Phase I (24 weeks) - Professional Pilot Program
Phase II (6 weeks) - Certified Flight Instructor Course
Phase III (4 weeks) - Airline Transition Course
Phase IV (4 - 5 months) - Work as a Certified Flight Instructor
